Origen Raíz is a partnership between two beautiful families in Mexico, the Cortés and Saravia family. It was a friendship between the sons of each family, Asis Corés and Bildo Saravia that was sparked by each of their passions for agaves. The Cortés family brought six generations of mezcal knowledge to Durango where the Saravia family have a long history of sustainable farming. Together, they have created a model for creating sustainable mezcal without having a negative impact on the environment.
