Nuestra Soledad Ejutla is a single-village mezcal that highlights the distinctive terroir of Ejutla, Oaxaca. Made from 100% Espadín, and traditionally crafted using time-honored methods, this agave is roasted in an earthen pit with volcanic stones and a wood fire, crushed by tahona, fermented in open-air wooden vats with natural yeast, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. Unaged and bottled at 47% ABV with no additives, this mezcal showcases bright, earthy flavors with a subtle smoky character. On the nose, it offers aromas of roasted agave, green herbs, and soft smoke, layered with wet earth, citrus peel, and dried flowers. The palate is smooth and complex, featuring cooked agave, green pepper, and citrus zest, leading to a long finish with lingering herbal and mineral notes.
