Pasión Ancestral Arroqueno + Tepeztate
Experience the distinctiveness of Mezcal Pasión Ancestral's Arroqueño-Tepeztate, made using traditional techniques and a unique blend of two agave varieties. Expect a balance of sweet, earthy, and vegetal notes, possibly with subtle undertones of vanilla, cream, butterscotch, and soft cheese. The use of traditional clay pot distillation is a crucial factor in crafting the flavorful profile of this limited edition mezcal release, with only 32 total bottles available.
In 1894, Grandfather Juan Colmenares (Juan Viejo) began to produce Mezcal Leno from the Palenque de la Presa located in Santa Catarina, Minas Duala. Pasion Ancestral was born to rescue the heritage and training of Mezcal, respecting and using the ancestral techniques and processes left to us by our ancestors, which have been preserved throughout the years so that we and future generations preserve our legacy.
